Requirements for opening an account in Rwanda
You must be at least 18. The date you enter has to match your ID document when it is checked.

Can I register with just my phone number?

Do I need to send documents to open an account?

Can I change my name or date of birth later?
Not yourself. Your name, date of birth and currency are fixed once the account is created. In Personal Details, your date of birth and ID document number can be entered only once, so type them carefully. These are the details your identity check compares with your National ID or passport. A genuine mistake can be corrected through customer support with proof, but it takes time and can hold up withdrawals.
Your e-mail, phone number, password and message preferences can be changed at any time in the settings. That is also where you set deposit and session limits.
